Overview

Klipdrop ("we," "our," "the site") is a video trimming tool available at klipdrop.net. This policy explains what happens to a video you upload, how ads and cookies are used, and your choices.

How this site handles your video

When you upload a video to trim, it's sent to our server and placed in a temporary, per-request folder. The trim is performed there (cutting the clip without re-encoding it), and the trimmed result is sent back to you for download.

That temporary folder — both your original upload and the trimmed output — is deleted immediately afterward, whether the trim succeeds or fails. We don't keep copies, back them up, watch them, or use them for any purpose beyond producing your trimmed clip.

Uploads are limited to 300MB and 10 minutes of video, and requests are rate-limited to prevent abuse. No account is required, and nothing about the video's content is linked to your name, email, or any other identifying information.

You're responsible for only uploading content you have the right to use and trim.

Cookies and advertising

Klipdrop may display advertising served by Google and its partners. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and manage your ad personalization settings, at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and adssettings.google.com.

Analytics

We may use standard, privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand overall site traffic and usage patterns. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

Third-party services

• Cloudflare — this site's frontend is hosted and delivered via Cloudflare's network.
• Google AdSense — used to display advertising, as described above.

Children's privacy

Klipdrop is intended for a general audience and is not directed primarily at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the site evolves. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
